Wedding Album Designs
I created a few sample albums of my recent weddings, all photographed in
the Fall of 2009, when I re-activated my new business here. I could have
easily displayed one of my "best" albums from the 1000+ weddings I have
photographed over the past 20 years. As the saying goes,"I am only as
good as my last wedding". These few weddings are "real". They are big
and small, full day traditional catering facility venues (Gore Manor),
and simple 3 hour house affairs (Ana and Andriana), and even an almost
"all portrait" wedding in Provincetown, of 2 young woman who wanted to
have their wedding in Cape cod, and chose me to create their memories
for them (Jessica and Nicole).
I hope I have made the "right decision" these few weddings I was able to
contract when I just re-located my business here, instead of showing you
my "best".....I think of every wedding as my best work.
You can make your own albums if you like. All of my packages include the
Original High Resolution Images. I use an album design program that will allow you to
Design Your Own
Wedding Album.
As I proceed through the wedding day I am thinking about the "story".
When you view individual images like the ones you see in my slide
presentations, they all look nice, emotional, interesting....
But, if I don't think about how your album will look as I am creating
those images, they might not "flow" as well in an album. When I am
creating your wedding day images, I am thinking about creating "groups"
of images, not simply one great individual image. That is really what
Photojournalistic Wedding Photography is all about...Story Telling.
My Award Winning Portrait and Artistic Compositions add a
different look to my style. Before the cameras were available that now
allow us to create our Photojournalistic images, I created my Portraits
to separate me from my "competition". Now you receive the best of both
worlds, emotional story telling images, combined with beautiful
portraits. I don't charge extra for it, it is just the edge I have over
my fellow Photojournalists.
This is good reading

This was my first Cape Cod Wedding. I was looking forward to
creating "samples" of my new Cape Cod Wedding Photography,
but the weather was not cooperating.
It took
place at a home in Truro, the day of the big hurricane.
Surprisingly, we were finally
able to get outdoors for a short time before we lost the sun. And in
the end, I captured the image to the left that I may enter in the
next Print Competition.

This is the one of the couples you will see in my Engagement images.
We took the engagement pictures on the beach at Sesuit Harbor, on Cape Cod.
Their wedding took place in a Church
in Boston, and the reception in Waltham
at the Gore Manor. I had never been there before, but you will see
some beautiful images I was able to create there.
This was the most "traditional" wedding I photographed last season.
We started with Gosia getting her hair and makeup done at her salon
on Newbury St in Boston (Enzo and Company). The ceremony was in a
church, and we went straight to the Gore Manor for all the formals
of the family and the Bride and Groom.

This couple had their wedding at their new house in Hyde Park, and we
went to a local park to create their portraits and creative scenic
images. I have never been to this park, as well as not having been
to any of the venues you will see in these weddings.
I
love to work in new places. I love the challenge of trying to create
an Award Winning image on every wedding.

It would be nice to say it never rains on wedding days, but we all
know it's not true. This wedding started in Marion, with the
ceremony in Onset, and reception at Salernos. When the
ceremony finished, we tried to take some pictures outside but the
wind and rain was too much for us.
You will see a "series" of portraits I can create on the rainy
days, indoors. I thought we were finished with the Bride and Groom
portraits at the church, but when we arrived at Salernos,
that being my first time there, I discovered a cute little covered
deck. We created a few more really nice available light compositions
on the deck.
I didn't create an album of Ashley' and Ryan's wedding. It was later
in the year and I got busy with holiday portraits. If you have not
looked at the Slide Show from the Gallery page, watch it now.

This couple came all the way from San Diego to have their wedding in
Provincetown.
They had the ceremony on the beach at the Surf Side Motel, and we went
to Race Point for portraits and scenic compositions. This was my
second opportunity to "work on" my new Cape Cod Wedding
Photography.
Jessica and Nicole only wanted me to photograph their ceremony and
then create my portrait compositions at Race Point. I added the
Pre-Ceremony and Dinner images so they would have a complete wedding
story.

Another house wedding, they wanted mostly candids and only hired me
for a few hours to capture the ceremony and a few family pictures. I
arrived early to create some portraits, stayed after the ceremony
and captured the reception, and I was able to create a complete
album for them.
