Photography Styles

Photographers have different styles, skills, and creative ideas. While I have "numerous" awards for my wedding portrait compositions, I also have an instinct for capturing the candid, "photojournalistic" moments of the day.

I know many photographers who have adopted a "total" style of wedding photography called "photojournalistic". I offer both styles.



The images on this side are actually album page layouts. I think in terms of creating images in sets of "series". I like to create a series of images in the same environment so later they will "tell a story".

Lighting is key. Not using "on camera flash" is critical. Flash create a flat looking image. Shadow creates shape and form...and interest. Special lenses, camera angles are another integral part.

StoryTelling Candids are not simply created by taking 1000 images and hoping for a few good ones.

Think about this....when you review any photographer's work...think..."do these images look like a professional photographer created them, or could a family friend have created them".

Prices

My Storybook Albums are a combination of Captured Moments Candids and my Award Winning, Classic Portraits.

Everyone has different ideas about what they want as far as a finished product from their wedding day photography.

Call me, or send me some information about your wedding, and what you might be thinking you want as far as contracting with me for coverage, albums, etc.

My prices range from $1500 (San Diego Weddings-time only) to $3500(outside of San diego-with albums).

I try and tailor a package for each client's needs.

And, your budget. I am not going to lie to you and promise I will be able to fit it, but I might be able to do event better than you thought because it fits my schedule and I want to fill a date.


I can provide my time only for 3 hours to the entire wedding day and I can design albums for you.
